I can see that is your first Gunpla... I personally like building 1/100 Master grades (they are easier to paint).

A tip for future Gunpla's, A hobby knife and file set (you can get one at Home Depot for ~ 10 bucks) can go a long way in getting rid of those nibs (left over runner attachment parts).

... now I want Beginning Gundam 1/100

Yeah this is my first gunpla :XD:

Thanks for the tip! I'm currently building my first 1/100 MG, hopefully it will turn out well ;w;

When it comes to painting or clear coating I find that "Pledge Floor care Tile & Vinyl floor finish with Future shine" works fine as a clear coat. It is an acrylic clear coat and you can use it in an airbrush straight from the bottle (you can even thin it with 25% isopropyl alcohol [rubbing alchol]). Works great on clear parts, bringing out their luster.
A 27 ounce bottle cost less than 10 bucks at my local wallgreens (I think it was around $6.99).

I just recently got into GunPla as well. My first 3 kits just got here today as a matter of fact :) (Beginning Gundam is among those three)
